חסרונות: "They were late with boarding to begin with and the process was extremely unorganized and slow. The Air France flight that was boarding next to ours at gate 9 got everybody onto the plane before our flight did and their plane was scheduled to take off 10 minutes AFTER us. The boarding attendant didn’t do a good job of announcing the group number for boarding. After priority and no baggage passengers, it was just one big mob. Our boarding passes were in group 1 but my mom ended up being one of the last people let through. The 2 attendants made her wait because they needed to tag her luggage. I guess they felt it was too big for carrying on. Which is fine. But they literally made her stand there while they let almost everyone else in line through. They even tagged other luggages and she was still waiting. And when she asked them about it, they told her to wait and they have to assist other people. What’s the point of being group 1 for boarding then? We still had to wait til pretty much everyone else went in. And the fact that our seats were in row 29 which is at the tail end of the plane made it even worse. Now we need to squeeze by 28 rows of people when we could’ve been in our seats and out of the way a long time ago. Terrible service!"

חסרונות: "I paid extra to book early so I could be assure of a seat with a view and so I could sit with my husband. Iberia charged my credit card 55.00 for the service and then, without my knowledge Iberia changed my seats and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. The communication between flight attendants and passengers was horrible. Those of us who had not eaten yet (about half the plane in economy seating) watched the flight attendants bring out extra bread to all of the other economy passengers who had already received their meals, while we, who had not eaten yet, watched. My husband inquired if we were also receiving meals. He was told that everyone would eventually receive a meal. Horrible customer service, the worst ever. Later, before landing the pilot cancelled beverage and snack service because of possible weather conditions but never put the seat belt sign on until we began our decent. Nothing made any sense. It was like a crazy person was in charge. I would not trust Iberia to take me anywhere in the future."

Some type of notification about needing a passport that expires more than 6 months after your retrun date would be nice, either from the airline or from kayak, since you already send so many emails anyway. This would be super easy for you to do and save a lot of people a lot of hastle, since many do not know about this pretty counterintuitive restriction. Anyway, Iberia offered to rebook me the following day and put me on standby for the next flight to give me the morning to renew my passport. However when I came back to check in for the second flight, the original attendant had forgotten to actually add me to the standby list and in the meantime, my connecting flight had become overbooked. The check-in folks argued about whether I could be upgraded to fit onto this flight, but decided that since the original dely was my fault, the best they could offer was a flight at the same time the following day. I asked if I could rebook my return flight to push it back a day, and they told me that figure reservations could only be changed over the phone. I totally accept that monitoring the validity of my passport is my responsibility, but refusing to put in an ounce of effort to assist their customers with relatively unknown and counterintuitive restrictions, then not admitting to fault of your own or lifting a finger to make up for blatantly crappy service if it even slightly affects their bottom line is absurd. Do better, Iberia. Oh wait, you're an airline. I won't hold my breath."

Overall, not a great experience -- very inefficient process with no one at the airline taking responsibility. Won't fly again if I have the choice."

חסרונות: "Flight was delayed an hour leaving Chicago, and arrived an hour late in Madrid. The screen was not updated in Chicago to let us know what was going on. It's a mass of people at the gate, with very little systematic lining up. One luggage piece did not come out on the carousel in Madrid. We had to wait 1.5 hr at the airport to confirm that they would send it to our Madrid hotel. Hopefully it will come. The food was mediocre. Pasta for dinner with little to no meat. Not even fruit. They are clearly saving money on the food."

The food was mediocre. Our entertainment system was not working at all for half the flight, they reset it about four times to get it working. Once it was working, my husband's screen was not responding at all. Flight was smooth and pilots made up some time in the air which was appreciated."

חסרונות: "I am filing a complaint for my recent flight from Madrid to Chicago, IL on 2/26/17. During my flight, a five year old sat in front of me who was disruptive throughout the whole 9 hour flight. He was yelling and slamming on his tray table nonstop. This made it hard to sleep or relax on the flight. He was disruptive to everyone in the whole cabin. I tried to be patient, as it was a child, but when the child started climbing the seats of the row and kicking his legs in the aisle, I had to act. Not only was the child a hazard to the well being of the passengers of the flight, but he could have hurt himself. His parents did not seem to act on his behavior and did not speak my language so I was forced to approach the flight attendant in my cabin. I told the attendant, “N. Cara” as her name tag stated, how concerned I was with the child’s safety and how he was disrupting the flight experience of all the passengers on the flight. She was disgruntled as I was the third passenger to approach her. Instead of acting on the situation, she scolded me. In a rude and derogatory tone, she yelled at me claiming she couldn’t do anything and I should just move to a different seat. She yelled so loud she attracted the attention of all the passengers around. I am shocked and disappointed with the treatment and customer service I received from the crew on this flight. Furthermore, I recommend that the airline should ensure that their employees are competent enough to deal with situations where passenger’s safety are at risk. The fact that the crew member did not attempt to approach the child’s mother or address the situation at all was appalling. It should not be the customer’s responsibility to address disturbances or safety precautions on a flight. I do not think I was treated well on this flight and I am very unhappy with the services I received and paid a great amount of money for. I believe I should be compensated for the mistreatment I endured. This may have been the worst flight I have ever had and I do not plan on choosing Iberia Airlines ever again due to this experience."

Instead, they went us through this ridiculous online process, where they determined they found the iPad, but "rejected our request to have it returned"!!!!!! The absolute worst!!"

I also was not sure if I had to checkin at the AA desk or Iberia desk : ended up being AA, but you all should be clear about this and say it on your confirmation email for multi company flights. My ticket said Iberia but the flight was handled by AA. Food was awful and no personal screen in the plane, but that's not your fault."

Cabin crew paid very little attention to this until we were 4 hours into the flight and basically said there is nothing I can do. I call for the head of the cabin crew and she took 2 hours to come talk to me. I had to wait for here to come out from her flight nap in the crew quarters."
